Sony Vaio laptops general overview.

Sony has been a trusted brand name for decades and with their recent range of Sony VAIO laptops it seems the early teething problems with driver support has now been overcome. The Sony VAIO range although focused at the home user market sector are beginning to make waves within prosumer sector where reliability and heavy use is demanded. There is no doubting these ultra slim and sleek laptops are a marvel to look at in terms of design, and it also seems the new range of Sony VAIO’s are catching up with the opposition laptop manufacturers when it comes to features and specification.

There are few peculiarities with the Sony VAIO range, for example booting up the computer seems to take a little longer than opposition laptops of the same specification and there are some issues with response times when accessing external drives which can lead to a little frustration. However hard disk size in modern laptops generally means external drives are often not needed.

There is no doubting the Sony VAIO range has some great looking machines and historical problems appear to have been and continue to be addressed.
